Nourishment

What does nourishment mean to you? Nourishing yourself is so much more than just ingesting food into your body. As I have journeyed through the process of finding my true yoga self I have realized that you must nourish every corner of yourself to get to the point of feeling a sense of wholeness. By nourishing your body, mind,breath, soul, actions, reactions and thoughts you will become whole.
By learning how to breathe and be in stillness you can learn how to change your focus and enhance your life.

By beginning a daily routine of taking better care of yourself and making more optimal choices that work for you, you will rise up and feel your best. Some of my suggestions that helped me is eating clean, meditation, prayer, working in and out of my body through my strength training and yoga routine and finding the joy in all the things you undertake. Not every day will be perfect but by using the tools that you already have inside of you, you can tap in and make the best of everything. In turn you will have nourished yourself completely. Recipe for a cleansing and energizing soup,

Power Greens-Beans Soup

Organic Kale
Organic Swiss Chard
Organic Baby Spinach
Low sodium vegetable broth organic (2)
Cannellini beans organic
San marzano tomatoes
Olive oil, garlic, basil, sea salt, pepper

Salute Olive oil and garlic, hand crush tomatoes add greens, beans and vegetable broth. Cook down about 20 mins till greens are tender, add spices. Adjust according to how soupy you like. Enjoy.
